Jason Meier

Jason Meier has been a member of the Parks and Recreation Foundation of Johnson County board since 2022.  He is a professional Landscape Architect and Real Estate Agent and is Licensed in Kansas and Missouri.  He has worked on numerous projects throughout the nation, preserving thousands of acres of community open space and is responsible for the installation of tens of thousands of trees throughout his career.  He brings a wealth of understanding about real estate and creatively working with the environment to create beautiful spaces.

Jason is passionate about the outdoors and is an avid Mountain Biker and Hiker.  He believes that everyone should have safe and beautiful outdoor spaces to connect with nature and with each other.  He looks forward to contributing to the Foundation’s goals through his experience and knowledge of the land, and connections with landowners throughout Johnson County.

Outside of his work as a Landscape Architect and Real Estate Agent, Jason Meier enjoys riding ATVs with his family and friends, exploring the world to find great natural and historic places.  His favorite Johnson County Parks include the Singletrack Trails in Shawnee Mission Park, Cedar Niles Park, and Big Bull Creek Parks.
