Rhonda Pollard, Foundation Director

Rhonda Pollard has been a dedicated member of The Parks and Recreation Foundation of Johnson County board since 2022.  With a background the park and recreation field, she brings a wealth of experience in community wellness programs spanning youth through seniors.

Rhonda is passionate about the importance of green space in our community as essential places for both mental and physical health and well-being for all.  She believes in parks as great equalizers, which aligns perfectly with the mission of The Parks and Recreation Foundation of Johnson County.  She looks forward to contributing to the Foundation’s goals through advocacy and community awareness.

Outside of her professional work, Rhonda enjoys spending time in the garden with her husband and canine pals, Samson, Chopper, and Mia.  She is also involved in the Kansas Recreation and Park Association, serving on a variety of committees and workgroups.  Her favorite Johnson County park/program is ALL OF THEM!
